Conventional fire alarms use dedicated
cabled circuits to protect their designated
zone'. When activated, the alarm triggers the
control
panel and alerts the authorities to
that designated area using LED indicators
on the control panel. |
|
Addressable fire alarms use wired loops
throughout the building with all devices
including manual and automatic devices
and audible devices on the same line.
When one detector activates, it pin-points
the exact location via an LCD panel. |
|
BS5839 requires that Fire alarms need to be maintained on a periodic basis as to ensure
the system remains in full working order at
all times. As such the system will be tested in accordance with the regulation and BAFE SP203
on a 2 or 4 visit per year basis. |
|
Your fire alarm system can be connected
along with your intruder alarm to our 24hour
manned alarm receiving centre who will
contact the Police and/or nominated key
holders immediately in the event of
an alarm activation. |
